Week 7 Elder Jones

Hey guys!  so glad you guys are having such a great time in Canada!  Okay so the first thing I should say is that i won’t be able to call from the airport. Sorry, I was given false information. I’M LEAVING FOR PERU IN 6 HOURS THOUGH and we´re all so excited. I love you guys and I hope you guys have a great vacation.

I got Dad´s letter with my eagle award!  that made me really happy and it was really nice to get a letter. I haven´t gotten my SD card yet for my camera but I can probably get one from the airport. Elder Baker and I got a bunch of pass along cards and we´re going to talk to people in the airport for the 3 hours we´re going to be there.

I started reading Jesus the Christ and seriously it´s one of the best books I´ve ever read. I can´t put it down. It just answers really clearly and thoughtfully a lot of doctrine questions I hadn´t really ever been able to completely understand or much less explain to people. One chapter I would recommend reading is chapter 3, the need of a savior. Also the notes at the end of the chapters are awesome read those too. Also the scriptures are still good and true.

It´s going to be weird these next 24 hours because everything is going to change so much. We had a testimony meeting last night with President Pratt with just the missionaries leaving these next few days and the spirit was so powerful there. So this Sunday is fast Sunday and I’m super excited to try to bear my testimony in Spanish to my new ward. I hope that I´ll be able to go to the temple sometime soon once I get to Lima because as I´ve been learning and growing my testimony here the main thing I´ve really wanted to do is go to the temple.

If Sister Amy Mouser is still in our ward, can you tell her that Hermana Madelyn Riggs says Hi? Small world. I’m really going to miss Elder Baker as my companion. I´ve grown so much from being his companion and we´ve never really had any problems in our companionship.
