Hey guys! so great to hear that you are all doing so well! Seriously I´m so happy to hear that everything is well.
I´m still in Rímac!! And I was able to bring my converts to the temple on Wednesday! It was a great experience. Especially Olinda had a great experience being baptized and confirmed for her mother. She said she felt a great warmth on her head when she was confirmed. She´s blind, so she couldn´t see the inside of the temple, but she said she could feel her mother´s presence. We had a few investigators go to the temple with us. One of them is Leeloo and she´s getting baptized on june 13th! She really wants to go inside the next time she goes. Also Richard, Rogger, Wudullnara, Isabella, Sofía, Alex, Jairo, and Roberto were able to go for the first time. It was a really great experience.
Today I was able to talk to the missionaries from Caja de Agua and I´m proud to report that Jesus Pachas is still going strong, cleaning the church every week and doing his hometeaching. He wants to get his endowment in October when he completes one year of membership. Jackie´s family that was once anti mormon is now completely baptized. The Concha Quispe family is still doing great. I don´t know if I´ve ever told you guys but Delia, the mom, and Josephina, the cousin, got baptized as well right after I left Caja de Agua. So all that news makes me really happy.
We have a baptism planned for Saturday! His name is Dominik. He´s 9, going to be ten years old on June 14th. He reminds me so much of Dan. He´s so much fun to teach. His mom is less active but we´re going to reactivate her this week. His sister is serving her mission in Brazil. They´ve been attending church for a few weeks, but we hadn´t been able to teach him until this week because they were never there for their teaching appointments, but we taught him on Wednesday and he really wants to get baptized, and his mom and sister really want him to get baptized too. So we are excited for that.
We had a solid week of work. We´re working really well in unity and we´re getting better every day as a companionship. I´m really enjoying my time here in Rímac. Also Happy Birthday to Tyler! I forgot to say it last week. Can´t believe he´s getting ready for the mission that makes me really happy to think about. I hope everything goes well with you guys this week. Love you guys!
