My companion and I also stayed up late and made pancakes in the middle of the night, so that was fun :) Anyway, in the morning on the 1st it was a little hard to work because it was like a ghost town outside because everyone was sleeping.
Then this week it was super great because Yudy's dad and three sisters accepted baptism for this week! We are super excited!!!! Also, we went to their house with the Elders for Yudy's dad's birthday and it was super fun. Their house is so fun but super crazy too. They have 6 kids and they have tons and tons of animals they have 4 pit bulls (which are super scary) a cat, and an iguana. Being with their family just makes me want to have lots of kids because being at their house is always tons of fun.
Then today was super fun because we woke up really early and a family from the church took all the hermanas in the ward to an active volcano here in Toluca! It was very nice of them because it was an hour and a half away in car and one of the hermanas was so excited the whole time because it was her first time seeing snow. The volcano is one of the highest points in Mexico, so it is one of the only places that has snow. It was my first time here in Mexico that I have really felt like it was winter. Then afterwards we were all freezing, but the family took us out to go and eat tacos and so that was super fun :) So anyway, that was probably the best P-day I have had my whole mission :)
If you could all pray for Yudy's family to be baptized (the mom and the son don't want to yet) their names are Marcos, Adriana, Yudy, Abraham, Valeria, Ximena (sounds like Himena) Mia, and Mateo.
Also I am thinking about changing my major in college, so when it is time to start signing up for classes can you tell me? Also, do you know what day BYU starts in the Fall because about now is the time I have to tell president if I want to extend my mission and I don't know if I have time to extend it or not.
Anyway I hope you have a great week and the kids have a great time at school.
Love,
Hermana Jones
