We're heading to Odon for the weekend to see Teresa's mom and to do some genealogy research in the Daviess county area. I printed a bunch of family information off last night, and am hoping to find a few obituaries at the Washington public library.
Yesterday was Hal's birthday, and we celebrated with a birthday carrot cake. Hal is 14 years old now, and is getting pretty big. He had a good day also yesterday because he did well in a race at his school-- they had their annual "fun run" of 2.5 miles for all the kids in his school, and he got a medal for coming in first place in his school. He was pretty happy about that.
I spent a few days this week at work meetings in Columbus Ohio, and am glad to be back. A couple of weeks ago, I spent some time attending work events in Guatemala and Costa Rica.

I hope you had some good luck with the genealogy research! I recently had a baby, so you have a new cousin of some degree, and I've started to get back into the genie research myself since I have some time off work.
