Dan is about 2 years and 9 months old now, and appears to be at the height of his mess-making prowess. This week we had an event known as the "soy sauce incident" where Dan found soy sauce in the fridge and spread it around the house, the carpet, and on himself.
Unfortunately, that's not where it ended-- the picture above is a stuffed alligator that was a casualty of the "ketchup incident." The ketchup incident consisted of a whole family-size bottle of ketchup being emptied around the house.
Round 3 this week occurred after Dan was banned from the kitchen, and is known as the "yellow craft paint incident." The carpets have not fully recovered from that incident.
Other incidents this week included the "2 broken curtain rods incident" and the "broken dresser drawer incident." We love Dan, but this is a pretty exciting stage of life for us!!

Let's just say he takes after his father who (at about Daniel's age) poured a giant sized box of tide on the floor and ran his trucks and cars through it, then held the vacuum cleaner hose to the bathroom sink - ran the hose down the basement stairs and tried to flood the basement.
Yikes, sounds like it's been a crazy week! So much to look forward to with a little boy on the way, huh? lol

Better yet, let's say he takes after his grandfather in a minor way; the tulip cutting incident, the chain incident, the walnut throwing incident, the throw Dewey out of the crib incident,the chase the birthday party guests around the house incident, and much, much more.
